Who still believes that Iraq isn't like Viet Nam? Any reasonable person can't help but see the similarities. I guess that make the current Administration unreasonable. Wow, big surprise.

I don't understand how many Americans can continue to believe that President Bush is being honest with them. Nor do I understand why they believe a word Scott McClellan, the press secretary, says.

Now there are reports that President Bush signed an executive order authorizing torture. The administration has tried very hard to pass off the horrors of Abu Ghraib as the work on a small group of errant, overzealous soldiers. They even found themselves a fall-girl (search for "Karpinski" in this FOX news article).

As for Guantanimo, the prisoners treatment is consistent with the Geneva Convention - or so says the Bush administration. However, the Geneva Convention does not condone cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment. The administrations perennial opponent, Amnesty International, has a very good report contradicting the administration's asserstions here.

We Americans impeached a president for sexual impropriety but fail to be outraged by murder and torture committed in our name. It's reprehensible.

Yeah, our newly elected President is being honest with the American public. He is the only man that can win the war on terror. Right...

Then why are we having this Humvee debate. It's funny, and sad, that voters didn't believe Kerry when he brought this issue up during the election. It is also sad that the Adminstration believes the question to be illegitimate as it was planted by an imbedded reporter.
